One of Poland's greatest composers has just died you know, I have great respect for the Poles though I have a poor view upon the quality of their alcholic beverages...

I had coffee in Poland, at Starbucks in Cracovia, Starbucks I've only seen that coffee shop in Manchester, Yes David your favourate blend of people run the coffee business Das Juden, any how getting back to the topic I had a black coffee it was laced with vodka filled nearly to the rim and then they pour the coffee in, The nights were cold so you needed something warm inside you.

With Christmas comming up you will find Shloss (sorry cant find the Germanic 'B') Egengerger, but there is a similarity between German, in particular, East Prussian Food & Polish, food but they share over the last 100 years the Capitals of Breslau, Stettin, Danzig & Posen, so the similarities are not supprising given the national overlap.

Never been keen on Polish Beer though, and these evewnts are none alcoholic, last years one was OK but I found it a bit hippified, my Polish mate from the Stronichetwo Narodowe would not approve...

That's near to Barley Wine, I used to drink some stuff at 14.5% called Bishops Tipple, you can only get this drink in selective pubs in Yorkshire, for it is only served around North London, it is brewed in Ailsbury by Badger Ales.
